Naomi Atkin

Co-Founder | Professional Hula Hooper |General Manager |

Naomi Atkin is a movement educator and multidisciplinary artist with a passion for helping people discover the joy of movement. She believes movement should feel accessible, empowering, and fun, and is dedicated to creating welcoming spaces where people of all backgrounds can explore, challenge themselves, and grow.

Largely self-taught, Naomi's journey began with a dollar-store hula hoop held together with duct tape. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion, leading her to explore hoop dance, prop manipulation, juggling, flexibility, acrobatics, and movement arts. Her work has taken her to events including the Mariposa Folk Festival, Radtastic Hoop Retreat, and the Toronto Hoop Collective Festival.

As an instructor, Naomi is known for her patient, encouraging approach. She understands what it feels like to be a beginner and believes that with consistent practice, curiosity, and support, anyone can develop new skills. Whether she's teaching hoops, mobility, or movement fundamentals, her goal is to help students build confidence, move with intention, and enjoy the process.

As the co-founder of Head to Toe Movement, Naomi is committed to building an inclusive community where movement belongs to everyone and where students feel supported to learn, play, and grow at their own pace. She continues to deepen her own movement practice through workshops, certifications, and ongoing learning, always seeking new ways to grow as both an educator and movement artist.
